Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment

A PRP treatment embodies the best of two worlds: a comprehensive facial and an instant facelift.

Procedure Time

30-45 Mins

Duration of Results

3 - 6 Months

From £400

The therapy works by using the body’s own natural healing abilities in order to reverse the signs of ageing. Growth factors, situated in the platelets, are placed in the areas of skin you want to target, this way starting the rejuvenation process.

The treatment helps in filling out fine lines and wrinkles, plumps the skin and offers a more radiant complexion overall.

Prior to the treatment

Before the procedure, it is very important to hydrate yourself accordingly and also eat enough, as this will enable the blood to be collected more easily.
After a consultation with us, your practitioner will draw some of your blood. The blood collected will be spun in a centrifuge in order to separate the platelets from the red blood cells using our advanced system.

During the Treatment

Your skin will then be cleansed and an antiseptic will be applied to the area to be treated. We will also apply a topical anaesthetic. The PRP will then be injected into the skin using a fine needle. In order to give an overall improvement of the area treated, we will inject your skin multiple times in multiple locations. The procedure usually takes between 60 to 90 minutes.

After the Treatment

After the treatment most patients feel comfortable returning to their daily activities not long afterwards. However, please be aware that due to the nature of the procedure, your skin might look swollen and red after the treatment and the effects should last for a few days.

You will be able to see some results straight after the treatment, however your skin will continuously look better after more time passes. The effects can last up to 2 years.
